Juniper Networks partnered with Infigic Technologies to design and develop native iOS and Android mobile apps integrated with Mist API's virtual beacon system, connecting real-time location tracking with dynamic content delivery and an intuitive, event-optimized user experience built for thousands of GITEX Dubai attendees.
The Challenge
GITEX Technology Week in Dubai attracts over 100,000 attendees across a massive exhibition space, making it difficult for visitors to navigate to specific booths and for exhibitors to engage attendees effectively. Juniper Networks needed a solution that could guide visitors directly to their booth while delivering contextual information about their solutions. The new platform needed to:
- Navigate attendees from multiple entry gates to the Juniper booth using interactive maps
- Detect when visitors approached Juniper's booth using virtual beacon technology
- Deliver automated push notifications when attendees entered proximity zones
- Provide seamless access to Juniper's enterprise, service provider, and security solutions
- Handle high-volume registration and real-time beacon detection with minimal latency

Our Approach
Infigic's mobile development team worked in close collaboration with Juniper and Waseela's event team to create an intelligent navigation solution for one of the Middle East's largest technology exhibitions.
