AgYield partnered with Infigic Technologies to redesign and redevelop their Android mobile app, transforming existing functionality into a modern, high-performance platform. Together, we rebuilt the user experience from the ground up, connecting real-time grain quotes, weather data, and account insights with an intuitive, field-ready mobile interface built for customers in agriculture and commodity trading.
The Challenge
AgYield had an existing Android application that served their farming and trading customers, but the platform faced significant performance issues and an outdated user interface. The challenge was to completely redesign and redevelop the app while maintaining all existing functionality and improving reliability. The new platform needed to:
- Deliver real-time grain quotes (future quotes and present cash grain quotes) with zero lag
- Provide comprehensive account summaries with crop details, rate changes, and gain/loss tracking
- Visualize complex trading data through intuitive charts and hedge snapshots
- Enable precise data filtering for customized insights
- Ensure flawless performance for users in remote field locations
- Modernize the UI/UX while retaining familiar workflows for existing users
Our Approach
Infigic's design and engineering teams worked in close collaboration with AgYield's product team to rebuild the mobile experience. We initiated with UI/UX redesign, reimagining every screen while preserving core functionality. Following client review and feedback, we moved into development — integrating all existing APIs with custom logic layers decoded from the iOS codebase to ensure cross-platform consistency.
